Sold out / finish early / holiday planner as in gloriafood#760

Gloria has this great thing, where you can set the restaurant as closed for the rest of the day / custome time period. It will allow customers to take orders for the dates the restaurant is open normally.

Cloudwaitress only allows to turn ordering on and off completely.

And I have to confess, I have forgotten to turn it back on after weekend more than once. We have sold out on Saturdays, turned off ordering, went home. Came back on Tuesday and wondered why there’s no orders whatsoever. Only checking if the ordering page actually works revealed what the problem was. And of course, it’s our own fault, but if we as owners can forget, the staff will certainly do so as well. And the losses can be substantial.

So could you please add something like this, or at least a big button on top of the page - open/closed where one can quickly toggle all services on or off till the end of the day?

It’s already supported with the special hours under the settings/location. ?

Add a special hour and change the opening hour for that specific day/date. Will only apply for the selected date

What Md-booking said lol i use the special hours all the time for customers who sometimes close early and that way i don’t have to worry about it the next day it will automatically turn back on 👌
