We have encountered this quite alot.
If someone adds items to their cart and selects a pick up time, they can leave the cart without checking out and return to it later and still have the same selected time and items in their cart. This really affects time slot allocation and stock. We often receive orders for items that have been out of stock for hours.

This is very urgent. All customer is scolding me due to this issue. This is a massive bug

This happened with one of my clients last week, we have 4 items for weekend restrictions (Sold on Saturday’s & Sunday’s) but a customer was able to otder 1 of those 4 on a wednesday.
It was impossible to do so when i test it, but how did that go through? Please prioritize this if possible
