it would be a great addition to be able to add allergen tags or flags to dishes and option sets. explicitly call out which allergens are present.

this could then be used to filter out those products that contain any combination of elements.

We already suppprt tags for allergens. Tags are searchable in new search feature coming in next release.

While i understand you can add tags for allergens, that would end up looking confusing if there are a lot of allergens in one product, especially if you’re using other tags as well. Plus, tags can’t be added to option sets, where you could have different options with different allergens.

As the 14 allergens are now considered standard in the food industry, it would be great to be able to add this outside of the existing tags system, to make it easy for caterers to inform their customers in a consistent, standard way

How about pre-made allergen tags within dish tags?
