Please build a POS integration setup so clietns do not have to re-enter orders into their POS system

Which POS integrations are you after? We have finished menu syncing and detailed ordering api. This is available upon request only.

Not an intergration, to have the App function as a POS. As it is now stores need 2 systems, the OLO App here and a POS. A POS allows a store to enter an order and send it to the kitchen without closing it out. The customer can come in for their PU order or a dine-in customer can get their food, order dessert to add to the ticket and get a check to pay at the end. All while allowing the order to be sent to the kitchen beofre closing/payment. IN other words, a POS version would allow order to be sent to the kitchen without closing the order out until a later time. The feature would make sales much, much easier as the OLO App can be sold as a replacement, thus not costing more.

This should be done soon as most POS Apps are developing an OLO App. When that happens stores will just add the OLO from the system they already use and not expand to a Couldwaitress type of OLO App

Same as suggested before. Please integrate with Itsacheckmate that way no need to integrate with all the POS systems. Also deliveract is similar to the same and integration to that would support many more pos.

Don’t want to intergrage, I would like a sell a product that can also act as a POS, so the stores don;t need 2 systems

I agree but we have POS feature sitting for many years now as we are among few first customers. It will take a while for cloudwaitress to be mature enough for us to use though we love the features. But not having tight integeation is pain for us now. We are going for franchising and if we get orders dorectly to KDS of our POS than its highly efficient. Its painful to enter it. Integration can be temperory but once pos is competative you can take it down.

Got it, but not sure if you know but Itsacheckmate is $100 a mo, that about what a cheap POS cost, so its not worth switching to that to intergrate and learn somehting new. It isn’t better, would like to sell the OLO not just as a stand alone but with the POS. Then there is actually a cost savings to switch because they can save the cost of the POS and get both. Many of the POS’s are starting to offer the OLO, so if this is only a OLO, the POS with OLO will be a more logical chicne. If no POS, we just sell less OLO.

Hi Ravi, the other person commenting is not CloudWaitress. We have built a comprehensive API for integration so there is choice to build integration directly to POS or an integration service. We have reached out to itsacheckmate several times already.

Abacus POS integration is now available to all users.

Is there any way we could integrate with Toast POS for here in the US?

Toast integration would be possible with your own developer. For us to build this would require substantial investment. We have standard POS integrations for US coming soon.

Is it possible to integrate with companies like omnivore.io and deliverect.com? These companies allow restaurants to connect all of the apps they use into their pos without a need for direct integration with each app.
