Remove option set display name on receipt#215

Many business owners like the receipt to be simplified and this option set display does the exact opposite. Maybe a receipt display line can be added to change name to shorten or a space to leave blank

Example: Option set display name “Condiments”
Options, salt, pepper, ketchup all required.

The printer order will print Codinents in bold then place the option the customer chose under it.

Every business owner that I have showed this system to have requested to remove the bold option set name at least on the receipt for the kitchen. If scarambele eggs are requested, chef doesn’t need to see “egg preparation” if that was the option set name. Wastes paper and many feel it gets in the way.

Yes I have the same problem with my customers most Chef’s complains about the receipt being too long and find the option set title unnecessary. It will be great to remove the title and also a addition to this maybe will be to print option sets side by side this will make print receipts shorter.

Which printers are you using?

Normal standard esc/pos thermal printers?

It’s not the printer. The software includes the option set on the print out. Below is an example one of the locations sent to me asking if I can print just the selected options.. Grub hub does this so many got used to this.

Understand it’s not the printer, but need to know if using ESCPOS image or text.

This is done. Setting inside option set so can customise setting within a single store.
