Be able to import and export menus in CSV format for easy bulk editing

when will this be implemented?

CSV format won’t work as the menu structure is very relaational, with options. What would be awesome though is the following. Import/export for csv file for options and menu items separately.

The way this would work:

• If the ID of the option exists: it’s updated, if ID is not provided, it’s added.
• Same with the menu.

The menu will contain the ID of the options. Because of the relationship, admin will need to be careful, but this would give us a lot of power to very quickly update menus.

Use case - I just got a requst to update 5 restaurants complete menu prices for the new year. Very large menus now have to click through each item. If this could be done by csv file import/export it would only take a few minutes.

Any idea when this will be implemented? We have a client who needs to work on pricing so an extract is needed

We do not have a time frame for this feature currently as it is low priority.

You should be able to download a CSV template so its the correct format for the system, then be able to re-upload it
